An interesting trend I noticed at conferences lately has been the use of digital cameras during a presentation to take photos of the slides being displayed. Perhaps there should be a movement to frown upon this practice, or at least a campaign to get them to turn their flash bulbs off. Better yet, just take some notes and wait for the slides on the post-conference website.
